My client turned 69 this year. Is he still allowed to make RRSP contributions?

If your client has RRSP room carried forward from previous years or an RRSP eligible amount, he can make RRSP contributions in the year, up to the maximum amount allowable. However, your client may not make RRSP contributions in January and February of the following year.
